The USS Manchester, an Independence-variant littoral combat ship, recently completed an 18-month deployment to the Indo-Pacific and returned to Naval Base â¢San Diego. Capt. Douglas​ Meagher, commodore, Littoral Combat Ship Squadron One, expressed pride in the achievements​ of the ship’s crews during their deployed⢠operations.

The ship participated â£in several multinational exercises⣠and â¤conducted port visits to six partner and allied nations including Indonesia, Malaysia, Marshall Islands, Philippines, Singapore â€and â¢Thailand.
