Scotland remains the most attractive place in the UK for foreign direct investment outside London, according to the EY Scotland Attractiveness Survey.
Last year it outpaced the UK and Europe on foreign investment, for the second year in a row, by securing a record 126 investment projects, the survey suggests.
Scotland also secured a 13.6 per cent share of UK foreign direct investment (FDI) projects and is polling at record levels of attractiveness to investors, the survey suggests.
The country is second only to London in terms of being the UK’s most attractive location to future investors, with 11 per cent of investors rating Scotland as the most attractive place to establish operations in the UK.
