The American website ‘Business Insider’ has revealed a ranking of the richest monarchies in Europe. Luxembourg comes in second!

According to ‘Business Insider’ Europe’s three richest royals are not even kings: Albert of Monaco, Henri of Luxembourg, and Hans-Adam II of Lichtenstein are the wealthiest in this ranking. Apparently, Luxembourg and Lichtenstein’s royal families have fortunes in the billions.

10. BELGIUM

King Philippe: the 59-year-old has an estimated fortune of 12.4 million euros.

9. SPAIN

King Felipe VI: the 51-year-old has an estimated fortune of 17.75 million euros.

8. NORWAY

King Harald V: the 82-year-old has an estimated fortune of 26.6 million euros.

7. DENMARK

Queen Margrethe II: the 79-year-old has an estimated fortune of 35.5 million euros

6. SWEDEN

King Carl XVI Gustaf: the 73-year-old has an estimated fortune of 62 million euros.

5. THE NETHERLANDS

King Willem-Alexander: the 52-year-old has an estimated fortune of 177.5 – 266 million euros.

4.THE UNITED KINGDOM
