The 5 Best Flea Markets In Prague

This nameless flea market is sometimes known as the “U Elektry Market” because of the street where it lies. As the largest flea market in Europe, it occupies an area of 50,000 square meters (538,196 square feet), and it’s just as chaotic as you might expect from its size. No organized booths here – the entire place is more of a mismatch of tables and objects piled up in baskets or on the tarps on the floor. However, this is where the magic of U Elektry lies; there’s no way to know which treasures of Bohemian glass, porcelain, Soviet-era medals, and even jewelry that you’ll find here. Arrive early for the best deals (the market opens at 6am and closes at 2pm, Saturdays and Sundays only), and look beyond the obvious old toys and clothes while searching for a treasure.
