U.S. Ambassador Eric Rubin, U.S. Embassy Public Affairs Officer Drake Weisert, U.S. Embassy Press Attaché Samantha Smith, and other embassy colleagues met with the staff of newly-relaunched Free Europe- Bulgaria. Since January 2019, Free Europe-Bulgaria has produced objective multi-media reporting and analysis in Bulgarian, and partnered with local media to amplify existing projects that promote public accountability and debunk false news.
