The Young Scorpions are currently training at the National Technical Centre in Old Yundum.
Coach Abdoulie Bojang is presently training with twenty-eight (28) players ahead of the sub-regional football championship.
The Gambia U-20 team will use their training sessions to prepare themselves fit and ready for the 2024 WAFU Zone A U-20 football tournament.
Meanwhile, the Young Scorpions slipped to Senegal U-20 team 1-0 in the 2022 WAFU Zone A U-20 football tournament final played in Mauritania.
The Gambia U-20 team also slipped to Senegal U-20 team 2-0 in the 2023 Total Energies Africa U-20 Youth Championship played in Cairo, Egypt.
