The Gambia finished bottom-place in Group C of the 2023 Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations without a point after losing all their group matches.
The Scorpions slipped to Senegal 3-0 in their opening group before losing to Guinea Conakry 1-0 in their second group match.
The Gambia lost to Cameroon 3-2 in their third and final group match.
The Scorpions will contend to win their qualifier matches to secure qualification to the 2025 Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations to be hosted in Morocco.
