Kinshasa, DR Congo – February 2024 – The young people from the Salesian Missionary Group in Kinshasa celebrated a day of fraternity through which they began the new year. A moment of prayer opened the event, led by Fr Christian Balabakeba, SDB, which was followed by a presentation of the Salesian Missionary Group through the theme “Missionaries, prophets of fraternity”, by Fr. Jacques Isha, SDB, coordinator of the Group. During his address, Fr Isha reminded all the missionaries that it is Jesus who sends on a mission, and he always sends the missionaries two by two, to be strong and effective together, in a true dynamic of fraternity. The day ended with a fraternal moment that brought Salesian joy to young people and recalled the group’s motto: “Together, let us dare for the Mission”.
